A family table by the sea
Stars is a family restaurant in the heart of the Novigrad seafront, opened in 2009. We began with a simple idea — to serve fish that was in the sea this morning, at a table that looks out on that same sea.
Each day we choose the best from the fishing boats and the Istrian fields: wild fish and shellfish, truffles from the Motovun forest, the olive oil and Malvazija of our neighbours. Little of it is complicated; all of it is fresh.
When the sun goes down, the terrace fills with candlelight and the scent of the sea. That is Stars — a place where dinner lasts as long as the conversation does.
